CONVICTED FELON ARRESTED AFTER FALLING ASLEEP AT THE PUMP — David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — A convicted felon was arrested after falling asleep at a gas pump and being found with drugs and weapons. It happened at the Cumberland Farms station on New Warrington Road. Employees at the store reported that a car had been at the pump for hours — but they didn’t see anyone inside. When deputies responded they found 37-year-old James Nunneley asleep in the driver’s seat. As deputies talked with Nunnelley they saw a bullet on the floorboard and several knives. When they searched the man they found bags of both meth and marijuana. Deputies say Nunnelly had six prior felony convictions.
