ESCAMBIA HIGH ROBOTICS TEAM SCORES 1ST PLACE WIN
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — The robotics team from Escambia High School brought home a first-place win at the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge over the weekend. It was held at the US Rocket and Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The goal of the competition was to design and build a vehicle that could take on challenging terrain and explore the moon or Mars. Escambia’s robotics team beat out 48 competing teams from high schools all over the nation to take first place. They also took second place combined when you add in college teams.
