MACHETE WIELDING MAN ARRESTED — David Wayne
Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — A man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly threatening people with a machete. It happened around Mobile Highway and Lynch Street. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Everett Norman threatened three people with a machete, then left the area in a black Chevy Tahoe. Deputies say Norman was found a short time later, and reportedly waved the machete out of the car window. He was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was taken to the Escambia County jail and held on $15,100 bond.
