DETAILS OF SANTA ROSA DEPUTY ARREST RELEASED
MILTON, FL—-We’re learning more about the arrest of Santa Rosa sheriff’s deputy David Daniels. According to Daniels’ arrest report, a now 17-year old girl told her therapist that Daniels had inappropriately touched her when she was 11. The victim alleges that while she was sleeping between Daniels and his wife, he was rubbing her inappropriately with his hand underneath her clothes. The Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office reviewed transcripts of a deposition where Daniels remembered the incident in question, but denied sexually assaulting the girl and stated he believed she was lying. According to Daniels, he woke up his wife after discovering he was touching the girl’s waist. His wife reportedly denied being woken up by him.
