DAPHNE QUAD-MURDER SUSPECT IN COURT — David Wayne
Baldwin County, AL (Newsradio 92.3) — The man accused of murdering his grandparents, brother, and a family friend last February in Daphne was in court yesterday for a preliminary hearing — where some startling testimony was heard. WKRG News reports that the quadruple murder may have happened over an argument over dirty dishes. 21-year-old Bracy Smith’s attorneys say he has a mental defect, but prosecutors say they have nothing in their files that shows that. The judge delayed a request for a mental evaluation, the case now moves on to a Baldwin County grand jury.
