CHILD SAVED FROM HOME AFTER TREE FALLS
Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — This morning’s storms knocked a tree onto a house in Santa Rosa County — trapping an 11-year-old child inside. It happened around 5 o’clock this morning in Munson. Officials say emergency crews were called to the scene where they were able to rescue the child. The child was taken to the hospital after being removed from the home. There’s no word on their current condition. A tree service has been called to get the tree off of the home. Strong winds are expected to continue today and there’s a possibility of more storms moving through the area.
