CENTURY SPECIAL ELECTION — David Wayne
The special election for two town council seats in Century is coming up this week. Polls will open on Tuesday at the Century Town Hall for the special election. Candidates Shelisa McCall and Evelyn Webber are in the running for council seat 3. McCall has been serving as an interim council member since January and is also the President of the local Century Chamber of Commerce. Webber recently moved to Century. Candidates Eddie Hammond and Alicia Johnson are running for council seat 4. Johnson has served as the interim council member for that seat since January. Both seats have been vacant since January when nobody ran for them during last November’s election.
