CANDY-SHAPED FENTANYL DISCOVERED DURING FAIRHOPE TRAFFIC STOP

Fairhope police say they discovered lethal amounts of fentanyl in candy-shaped form during a traffic stop over the weekend. According to WEAR, 52-year-old James Derrell Hobbbs was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after cops say they found 7 grams of fentanyl, enough to potentially kill 3,500 people. Investigators say anything more than 2 milligrams of pure fentanyl is enough to be considered lethal.
