BOOKER T WASHINGTON 5K RACE — David Wayne
The Student Government Association at Booker T. Washington High School is hosting their 5K charity race next weekend. It will be held at the Washington High School Stadium on College Parkway on Saturday April 29th. Proceeds from the race benefit Communities Caring at Christmas — which is an effort between various area charities that provide Christmas gifts to kids in need. If you want to be a part of the 5K packets can be picked up on April 28th in the school lobby — the early registration price is $10. You can register day-of for $15. The race starts at 8 o’clock next Saturday morning.
