BICYCLIST KILLED SUNDAY NIGHT ON NORTH PALAFOX — Steve Taylor
Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — A bicyclist was killed in a crash last (Sunday) night on North Palafox Street in Escambia County. It happened around 9:20 pm at North Palafox and Archer Road. According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 59-year-old man was riding a bike on North Palafox Street just north of Archer Rd. when he was struck by an SUV. Both were traveling north. The bicyclist was pronounced dead, while the 42-year-old Cantonment man driving the SUV didn’t suffer any injuries. No further details were released.
