Pensacola, Fl (NewsRadio 92-3) — A 51 year-old Pensacola woman is behind bars in connection with Tuesday morning’s robbery attempt at the Synovus Bank on Bayou Boulevard. Rescheca Lynell Marshall is charged with attempted robbery with a firearm and attempted grand theft. Pensacola Police Department Spokesman Mike Wood told NewsRadio it happened at around 11:15 am yesterday. According to the report, police arrived on the scene and found a cell phone at the teller’s window. Surveillance video showed the suspect leaving her cell phone there. The report states police searched the phone through a warrant, finding that the owner of the phone is named “Resheca Marshall.” Police then searched the name in their database and determined that Marshall’s photo matched the suspect seen on the bank surveillance video. No money was exchanged and the suspect left on foot. According to the report, Marshall and a man were involved in a recent criminal mischief incident at the Lions Motel. Police located and detained Marshall and the man at the Lions Motel as they walked out of a room.  She is being held on $105,000 bond. The man was not charged.
