ALABAMA BASKETBALL COMMIT ARRESTED
(Tuscaloosa, AL) — University of Alabama basketball commit Jaykwon Walton will not be playing ball for the Crimson Tide next season. Records show Walton was arrested on drug charges over the weekend in Tuscaloosa. The arrest occurred less than one month after Walton announced he would be leaving Wichita State to play for Alabama. Head coach Nate Oats said in a statement yesterday, that “Alabama is no longer recruiting Jaykwon Walton and he will not be a student-athlete at The University of Alabama.”
