Escambia County Sheriff Recommends Not Going to Mexico

ESCAMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF RECOMMENDS NOT GOING TO MEXICO

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) — A tragic end in the recent news story of four Americans being kidnapped while in Mexico — two have been found dead, and two others are alive, but wounded. They were kidnapped after crossing the Texas border last week. Escambia County’s Sheriff says his recommendation is to avoid going to Mexico if you can…

“There are cartels that are bringing drugs into our country…they are very dangerous cartels. Just because you’re not dealing with the drug trade doesn’t mean they might not need your car, or want your money.”

Simmons says Cartels have to steal new vehicles regularly to run drugs into the U-S.

The four Americans that were kidnapped after crossing the border into Mexico were reportedly there for plastic surgery — two were killed and two others survived and are now recovering in an American hospital.
