ATTEMPTED ROBBERY OF GULF BREEZE DOLLAR TREE — Steve Taylor

Gulf Breeze, FL (NewsRadio 92-3) — A man was caught by deputies just before allegedly attempting to rob a Dollar Tree in Gulf Breeze. Christian Saucier, 21, of Gulf Breeze is charged with robbery and resisting arrest. According to an arrest report, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by an employee of the Dollar Tree on Gulf Breeze Parkway, who informed the department of a potential robbery at the store. Deputies responded and located Saucier in the parking lot near the Dollar Tree. Saucier allegedly dropped a bat and mask before running off toward a nearby Walmart. He was eventually located hiding in the wood line near Starbucks. According to the report, deputies located Saucier with a hunting-style folding knife. Saucier is in Santa Rosa County Jail without bond.
